Yesterday was spent traveling by bus further down the Amalfi Coast to the town Positano where we sunned ourselves and swam in the cool water. It was absolutely breathtaking and Matt and I had to keep reminding ourselves that we were actually there, in the actual place that we had only gawked at in pictures. We took the bus into the city which was a trip unto itself and decided on taking the ferry back to Sorrento which was a magnificent choice as we sat on the front deck taking in the amazing views. We leave the Amalfi Coast today and head to the
anticipated Rome, until then...

Lessons learned thus far:

1. Italian men like their speedos and begin this training young.

2. The bus drive from Sorrento to Positano can be nausea inducing.

  1. I just want to know when Matt's break'n the speedo out! Looks like you guys are having fun.

  2. pictures look great....but what is in the pool floating around you!!!....

  3. LOL....they love speedos here too. In fact, guys can only swim in public pools if, they wear speedos. Henceforth, we only swim in the Med. sea.

Beautiful area...glad that you're having fun.

  4. Hi Mom, the blue fence-like thing in the water is to keep swimmers in an enclosed space since many boats are constantly coming in and out of that area. Ian - of course Matt rocked the speedo! We just didn't think the pics of that would be appropiate for the blog;)

  5. Peanut - You mean to tell me that Bnut doesn't rock a speedo?! Love you!
